Should I open a Team Store? What do I need to know?

Many customers open a Boathouse Team Store for the convenience provided. Each team member is able to select the gear they want, go through check out and pay for their own items, then have them delivered directly to their own house.

Here are some additional facts about Team Stores in order to decide if this is the right choice for your team.

How long will the Team Store stay open?
A Team Store will typically stay open for 1-2 weeks. Stores can open on any weekday, but stores must close on a Monday or Tuesday night.

Is there any additional cost for a Team Store?
Team Stores charge a small surcharge on products to cover the costs of setting up the store. Items on a Team Store are priced at 5% more than Team Price for the items.

Are there minimum order quantities?
YES. All Team Stores must meet the product minimums for each product in order for the product to be manufactured. Minimum quantities are 6 for outerwear (jackets & pants) and Unisuits. All other items are a minimum of 12. If the Team Store accrues orders for less than the minimums on an item, the orders for that item will be canceled and the items will not be produced.

How much is shipping?
With a Team Store, each person pays for their own shipping. Shipping costs $12.95 per order. Orders of $199.00 and above receive free shipping. A Bulk Shipping option is available for Team Stores where all orders will be sent to a single address. For this option, each order pays $5.00 in shipping.

How long does it take to get our order?
Once the store closes, we start making your gear right here in our factory in Philadelphia, PA USA! Depending on the season it can take up tp 6-8 weeks  (including shipping transit time) to get the orders delivered from the store close date.

Can I use the Team Store to raise funds for my team or club?
Yes. A percentage (usually 10% to 25%) or a flat fee (dollar amount) can be added to the cost of the Team Store product for fundraising. Please note that the each item must meet the quantity minimum in order to qualify for the fundraiser dollars earned on that product. Once a Team Store has shipped, the store contact will receive an email containing their rebate voucher showing the rebate amount that they have earned from the store. The store contact will need to complete the rebate voucher and email it back to Boathouse. Once Boathouse receives the completed rebate voucher, the rebate check is mailed out within 45 business days.

How to get Pricing on Custom Items

To get accurate pricing for your custom apparel order, go to the Order Tab when you are done designing the garment (see Fig. 1 below).

Enter the quantity of garments that you want to order. Our pricing had volume discounting built in, so step is key to getting the correct Order Total. Even if you don't know the actual sizes at this point, just enter the total quantity to get pricing (see Fig. 2 below).

Once you have entered the quantity you want to order, scroll to the bottom of the Order Tab below the ADD TO CART button. The pricing will be calculated there and give you an overall Order Total (see Fig. 3 below).

Using PayPal.Me to collect money for Team Orders

If you already have a PayPal account, you can easily use it to collect money from your team. You can then use the funds in your account as the payment method to check out on Boathouse.com. Just follow the simple instructions below!

1. Go to https://www.paypal.me to create your PayPal.Me link

2. Send out a link to your team for the amount owed by each person. That is done in this format:

http://www.paypal.me/YOURNAME/YOURAMOUNT

So for instance, if your PayPal.Me profile name is “janedoe” and you need to collect $69.75 from each player, you send them all this link:

Rollaway Hood Details

The Roll-away hood option on our popular Gore-Tex, Supplex and Pro-Tech jackets all have a collar with velcro to tuck away the hood when not needed.

How do I redeem MVPoints?

To redeem your MVPoints for Boathouse Rewards, follow the instructions below.

  1. Log in to our website 
  2. Click MVPoints in the bottom left corner 
  3. Click GET REWARDS on left menu in pop-up (Screen 1 below)
  4. Select the Reward you want and click the "Get Reward" button for that offer. When prompted to confirm, click YES (Screen 2 below)
  5. You will be presented with a Promotion Code for the Offer (Screen 3 below). Either click on the clipboard icon or highlight the text and CTRL+C to copy the Promotion Code. Enter this code in checkout to apply the reward.
  6. You don't have to use the code right away. You can come back at any time to use the Redemption Code.

 

 

 

Sending Back Blanks to be Embroidered

FAQ: Can I order jackets and send them back later to be embroidered?

Yes! Unless this is a repair Boathouse is responsible for, you will need to pay shipping to our factory and back to you.

To have existing Boathouse Jackets sent back and embroidered, the following prices apply:

$15 per placement per jacket
$25.00 per placement per Gore-Tex jacket
$39.00 Art Fee per new Logo
$? - Shipping (Will vary)

Our typical lead time to embroider is 10 days. However, if it is for new art, the lead time may be longer.

Where is my rewards redemption code?

FAQ: I had exchanged my MVPoints for a reward and was given a code to use. Now I can't find it! How do I find this code?

  1. Log in to our website 
  2. Click MVPoints in the bottom left corner 
  3. Click ACCOUNT on left menu in pop-up 
  4. Find the date of the reward and click Approved/Pending/Declined in the right column
